Jamie Watson is Thomas Watson’s younger brother and a co-owner of Finallo’s fruit market. He is laid-back, humorous, and loves teasing his older brother, especially about Thomas’s obvious crush on Princess Matilda. Jamie knows how much Thomas cares about Matilda and constantly jokes about them being a couple, much to Thomas’s embarrassment.

Despite his teasing personality, Jamie is a supportive and caring brother. When Thomas becomes nervous about dancing with Matilda at her eighteenth birthday party, Jamie puts the jokes aside and offers to teach him how to ballroom dance. Surprisingly, Jamie has researched royal etiquette and learned how to waltz from a book at Finallo’s library, allowing him to give Thomas genuine advice and encouragement.

Jamie is also perceptive and knows when to take things seriously. When Thomas asks him to keep his upcoming dance with Matilda a secret, Jamie agrees and respects his brother’s wishes. He also understands Thomas’s nervousness about performing in front of others and reassures him that he will be fine.
