Paws is a dog citizen of the Kingdom of Finallo. He is Princess Matilda's pet dog. He is also the main sidekick of The Magic Heart book saga.

Paws is such a loyal dog to Matilda. A dog might be a man's best friend, but Paws is a princess' best friend. He always sticks by Matilda and he does everything he can do protect her, like what dogs do. Paws is mainly a lover, not a fighter. He doesn't attack other animals or people unless he really needs to. As a matter of fact, he's more of a scaredy-dog when it comes to fighting. Paws may be a Tamaskan (a wolf dog) on the outside, but on the inside, he's just a sweet little puppy.

Overall, Paws is a good boy.
