Princess Matilda is the princess of Finallo and the daughter of King Robbin. She is also the holder of the most powerful amulet in Finallo: The Magic Heart. She is the main protagonist of The Magic Heart and the person responsible for holding the twenty power gemstones that give the Heart its magic.

The Magic Heart is a heart-shaped amulet that Matilda uses to fight enemies, protect herself, and help the people of Finallo. Matilda has been using The Magic Heart since she was a child, and she knows how to use its magical abilities when facing dangerous creatures and villains.

Matilda may be a princess, but she's not entirely proper or gentle. When it comes to fighting monsters and bad guys, she knows what she's doing. She's brave and determined, and she isn't afraid to put herself in danger when it means protecting the people she loves. However, she's not fearless. The dangers she encounters can genuinely scare her, but she continues forward anyway.

Outside of fighting, Matilda is a very kind and caring person. She deeply cares about her kingdom, her father, her best friend Thomas, and her dog Paws. She believes that being a princess doesn't make her better than anyone else, and she considers Thomas her best friend regardless of the fact that he's a commoner.

Matilda is also playful and has a mischievous side. She enjoys teasing Thomas, especially when she knows she can make him embarrassed. Despite all the dangers surrounding their quest, she tries to keep their friendship strong and make sure Thomas knows how important he is to her.

Matilda is Brokaw Books' very first human character. She was created way before Brokaw Books was founded.
