Matilda is the princess of Finallo and the daughter of King Robbin. She is also the holder of the most powerful amulet in Finallo: The Magic Heart. She is also the main protagonist of The Magic Heart book saga.

The Magic Heart is a heart-shaped amulet which is what Matilda uses to fight enemies, protect herself, and to help her villagers in the kingdom. Matilda has been using the Magic Heart since she was a kid. Matilda may be a princess, but she's not entirely proper or gentle. When it comes to fighting monsters and bad guys, she knows what she's doing. 

She doesn't only use The Magic Heart for fighting. When she's not fighting monsters or bad guys, she's a very sweet woman. Every morning, she likes to go around the kingdom to say hello to the citizens, water flowers at the kingdom's garden, and to help anyone with their tasks. And she'll use her magic to make the jobs easier. You can probably tell why so many people in her kingdom love her.

Matilda is also Brokaw Books' very first human character. She was created way before Brokaw Books was founded.
